Carl Jackson's "Home for Christmas"

Three Time Grammy Award Winner Carl Jackson returns to Louisville for his 14th Annual "Home for Christmas" Show on December 11th. Two shows are scheduled for the Strand Theatre at 4 pm and 7 pm. Proceeds from the shows benefit the Winston County Community Arts Center located at the Strand.

As usual, Carl brings a truckload of talent along for the ride. Fellow Nashville songwriters and performers, Jerry Salley and Larry Cordle have joined Jackson on stage for many years along with Johnny Rawls and Val Storey.

Also back for a second year are Bradley Walker and the longtime comedian Lonnie Shorr. New to "Home for Christmas" is the Nashville Duo of Joey & Rory. Rory Feek has written songs for Clay Walker, Kenny Chesney, Randy Travis, Reba and Blake Shelton including his hit "Some Beach". This husband and wife team have recently completed their 2nd album.
The "Home for Christmas" concert is a wonderful mix of Country, Gospel, Bluegrass, and instrumental music. World class performers put on a show that is one of the finest available anywhere in the country. The relaxed atmosphere and small venue allows for audience interaction and is a natural stage for the comedy of Shorr and the exceptionally pure voices of Val Storey and Bradley Walker.
Seating for the concert is reserved and ticket costs are $30 & $35 each. This show has been a sellout for years but there are a few remaining tickets available as of December 1st. Contact the Winston County Chamber of Commerce at 662-773-3921.
