Parent of the Year Celebrated with Eiland Middle School Students, Parents and Staff

Parent of the year at Eiland Middle School, Rita Eichelberger, set precedence by having a reception for all parents, students and staff after lunch on Thursday, May 17, 2012.  She served 3 cakes decorated with ‘Have a Great Summer’, peanuts, chips and punch.  Mrs. Eichelberger stated, “It was a great way to end the school year with parents, teachers and students and to show my appreciation. I was humbled to be selected as Parent of the Year”. She is the mother of Asia and Montana Eichelberger. Her husband and active parent also, Paul Eichelberger, shares this honor.
