Search Warrant Results in Arrest on Friday

Law enforcement from the Winston County Sheriff's Office, Louisville Police Department and the Ms. Bureau of Narcotics executed a search warrant on a home on Tuscaloosa Street around 4:00 pm on Friday, June 1. As a result of the search, Sam Jones was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and felony possession of cocaine. Jones has had three previous felony convictions including accessory after the fact for armed robbery, sale of cocaine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Jones is currently in custody at the Winston Choctaw County Correctional Facility.
