.Winston County Supervisors recently decided that extra effort should be made to collect unpaid fines through the Justice Court System. Hundreds of people owe thousands of dollars in unpaid fines. The current published list includes outstanding fines that are at least 48 months or older. The County is offering a 30 day amnesty on any existing fines. Any fines unpaid after that time will result in a warrant for arrest. The list was first published in the May 30th issue of the Winston County Journal. The fees may be paid at the Justice Court Office in the Winston County Courthouse or they may be paid online at : winstoncountytix.com
